Developed and commercialized a bio-pesticides based on the Pheroid® platform technology. Several projects using Pheroid® technology are currently underway, in consortium with the O.R. Tambo Africa Research Chair (Tanzania)

BioPher® (Pty) Ltd further developed a batch process to produce ethylated fatty acid esters, a raw material in the production of AnnGro®. Ethylated fatty acid esters ingredient is only available on import at high cost. Through the TIA funded development there will be local manufacturing of the ingredients and products, resulting in lower costs.
