Based in Cape Town, CPGR combine state-of-the-art, information-rich genomic and proteomic technologies with bio-computational pipelines to create fit-for-purpose offerings for customers in academia and industry. The platform strives towards developing innovative local solutions to render ‘omics’ technologies available, accessible and affordable for customers across Africa. An efficient integration of a range of internal and external processes allows CPGR to render complete Genomics and Proteomics services. As a consequence, the services rendered can meet key requirements in Genomics and Proteomics projects including: turnaround, quality and costs. The combination of technologies and adherence to stage-specific quality management principles allows CPGR to provide services and support across the life science chain, enabling projects centred on research, development as well as market-ready applications. The CPGR facilitates a seamless conversion of ideas into robust plans by employing an integrated framework for the design and management of genomic and proteomic projects.
